Newly Graduated Engineer Visa is a program offered by the Australian Government to engineers who have recently graduated from universities in Turkey. With this visa, engineers who have the necessary qualifications have the right to reside and work in Australia for up to 18 months.

General Qualifications Required in Visa Candidates:

• not being under 31 years of age
• Having graduated from a qualified engineering department of a university recognized by the Australian Government (accredited by MÜDEK or ABET)
• Not having completed the second year of graduation date
• Not having previously been the primary visa holder of a New Graduate Engineer Visa (Subclass 476) or Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485)
• Proven English language skills
• Meeting health and character requirements

How to Prove English Language Proficiency?

Qualified engineers who are citizens of the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, the United States or the Republic of Ireland do not have to prove their English language skills. Qualified engineers who do not have a passport from any of these countries must have taken one of the accepted English exams and received the required score.

PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic):

• Overall Result Score: Minimum 50
• At least 36 points must be taken from each section.
• Valid for 3 years.

IELTS (International Language Testing System):

• General Result Score: Minimum 6.0 (Does not matter General Training or Academic)
• At least 5 must be obtained from each section.
• Valid for 3 years.

TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test):

• Overall Result Score: Minimum 64
• A minimum of 4 must be obtained from the Listening and Reading sections.
• A minimum of 14 must be obtained from the Writing and Speaking sections.
• Valid for 3 years.

CAE (Cambridge English):

• Overall Result Score: Minimum 169
• At least 154 points must be obtained from each section.
• The exam entry date must be January 1, 2015 or later.

OET (Occupational English Test):

• Overall Result Score: Minimum 50
• Must have received at least a B in each section.
• Valid for 3 years.

CHARACTER:

New Graduate Qualified Engineer Visa candidates in the last 10 years; must obtain a criminal record from each of the countries in which he or she has been for a total of 12 months or more; It is examined whether the character requirements are met with this document(s).

HEALTH CHECK:
