High school education in France, just like in Turkey, is divided into primary school, secondary school and high school, and in this respect, students who graduate from secondary school in Turkey can easily overcome the adaptation phase by studying high school in France.

In terms of high school education, France, like Türkiye, implements an education system in which students can focus on a specific field starting from the 10th grade.

In France, high school education is provided in two different types: “Lycée Classique” and “Lycée Technique”.

In Lycée Classique education, students receive education in the fields of positive sciences, health sciences, social sciences, engineering sciences and fine arts with an academic curriculum for university.

In Lycée Technique education, practical vocational training is offered for students who want to focus on professional fields. In this respect, the Lycée Technique system, which has a structure similar to vocational high schools in Turkey, allows students to enter business life after graduation.

Students who study in French high schools for 2 years are eligible to receive a French high school diploma. French language skills are required to receive high school education in France. However, a minimum grade point average of 65 out of 100 is a condition for success.
