In Canada, courses in high school education programs are specialized and focused on specialized areas. In addition to taking only “science” courses, students may take courses in areas such as physics or biology. In these types of programs, written assignments and exams tend to be much longer and more detailed. In many areas of Canada, international students can choose to study in English, French, or both. Some schools have a religious education-only system.
In Canada, high school education is provided between grades 9 and 12. Only in Quebec, with the exception of high school education, it covers grades 7 to 12.
Students can transfer to Canada at any grade level in high school.
Students who are academically successful or talented in the fields of arts/technology/sports have the opportunity to receive a scholarship to study high school in Canada.
You can have your high school education completed in Canada recognized in Turkey by applying to the Equivalence Office of the Ministry of National Education with the application form and requested documents.
